On June 26, 2018, the Delaware General Assembly enacted into law Senate Bill 235 that in sections 48 to 55 removed the statutory provisions related to the Child Placement Review Board (CPRB), bringing the work of the CPRB to a close. Policy and Expectations

Student Expectation

Students who receive a Davis Scholarship or ETV funds have must provide proof of enrollment in a qualifying educational institution and they must provide documentation of their grades or information that demonstrates educational progress. Also, an award may be withdrawn if the student changes their educational institution without authorization from the CPRB. More information regarding student expectations.

Educational Progress Expectation

Students must demonstrate progress towards their educational goal to remain eligible for the Davis Scholarship or ETV funding. Progress is defined as

  1. Maintaining a 2.0 G.P.A. or higher at College or University, or
  2. Obtaining a "meets expectations" or better in a job training or certification course.

Allowable Expenses

Students must use their Davis Scholarship or ETV allocation responsibly. Davis Scholarship awards must be sent directly to the approved institution of higher learning for expenses such as room and board, tuition and books. ETV funds may be used for school and living expenses. More information regarding allowable use of ETV funds.

Abuse of Funds

Students who use their award allocation for an unallowable expense will be expected to repay those funds. Failure to do so may result in criminal charges being brought against the student. More information regarding Abuse of Funds.
