FILING AND PAYMENT CENTER VOLUNTEER ALEXANDRA M. JOYCE
The Filing and Payment Center was assisted last summer by a high school age volunteer, Alexandra M. Joyce, who prepared records of the Office of State Court Collections Enforcement for archiving. Her assistance was invaluable in bringing this long needed project to fruition while enabling full-time staff to continue with their daily functions of taking new payments. According to Robin Jenkins, Manager of the Filing and Payments Center, “Alex was a tremendous asset to the Center. She never lets her physical challenges get in the way of spreading joy or working hard; and she and her service dog, Dee Dee, brought a special spark to all of those around her. She is a dedicated and thorough worker; and I am sure that she will succeed at whatever she chooses to do in life.”
Alex is currently a senior at St. Marks’ High School where she was voted “student of the year” in her junior year. She likes swimming and shopping and has a talent for sewing. An honor student, she is planning on attending college in the area next year.
