Apply to be a Provider

Thanks for your interest in offering courses for Delaware CLE credit. All Delaware CLE courses must meet the standards outlined in CLE Rule 7. Providers may be individuals or organizations (e.g., for-profit, nonprofit, government, bar associations, law firms, corporate legal departments).

Before you can register to submit course applications, you must complete the Application to be a Provider and email the completed application to ARMS_CLE@delaware.gov. If you are approved, you will be assigned a Provider login for the Delaware CLE’s course management system, Delaware Supreme Court Lawyer Management System (“DESCLMS”). All course-related information including applications, attorney attendance data and fees must be submitted through DESCLMS.org.

Apply to be a Sponsor

Accredited Sponsor status is granted to organizations which exist to present continuing legal education programs. No law firm, legal department of a corporation, or agency of government shall be designated as an Accredited Sponsor, except for an entity the sole or primary purpose of which is the presentation of continuing legal education programs. The Commission requires that Accredited Sponsor applicants have a history of program approval with the Commission. Accredited Sponsors must have demonstrated that their courses are consistently worthy of credit and they are familiar with the attendance reporting requirements of CLE Rule 6(A). Accredited Sponsors must still apply for approval of each program at least 60 days in advance. Accredited Sponsors are exempt from the fee for in person, live programs. Accredited sponsors do pay a fee for the electronic programs. Accredited Sponsor Status is good for one year from the date of approval and must be renewed annually. The renewal form will be emailed to Accredited Sponsors prior to the annual expiration date.

Applicants must submit an Application to be a Sponsor with a $350.00 application fee to the CLE Commission, 405 N. King Street, Suite 500, Wilmington, DE 19801.
