Limited Permission to Practice
Law Student

An eligible law student may appear before certain courts and agencies of the State of Delaware described in Supreme Court Rule 56(a) before graduation under the supervision of a member of a Delaware organization specified in Rule 56(c).


Qualifications
Law Student

To be eligible to be permitted to practice in Delaware under Supreme Court Rule 56, the applicant must:

Be registered at and attending an ABA accredited law school and have successfully completed at least four semesters as a full-time law student.

Be certified by the dean of the law school as being of good character, competent legal ability, and eligible to participate.
