To be admitted to the Delaware bar, an applicant must:
Have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law school.
Score at least 143 on the written Delaware Bar Examination.
Score at least an 85 on the MPRE within 4 years preceding, or by December 31 in the year after, passing the Delaware Bar Examination.
Complete a 12-week Clerkship in Delaware and Clerkship Checklist.
Attend the Pre-admission conference.
An applicant must complete the following steps to be admitted to the Delaware Bar:
Complete the Application to sit for the Delaware Bar Examination, including supplying all required documents.
Complete the NCBE Character and Fitness Application.
Pay the applicable fee.
Law school graduate early registration fee: $700 / regular registration fee: $900
Attorney early registration fee: $800 / regular registration fee: $1,000
