The Honorable Jon E. Abramczyk, Judge

The Honorable Jon E. Abramczyk was appointed to the Superior Court of Delaware by Governor Matt Meyer on June 11, 2026.

Judge Abramczyk received his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the Tulane University School of Law in 1985, where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review.

Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court, Judge Abramczyk practiced at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell, LLP for more than 35 years, focusing on complex commercial and corporate litigation in the Delaware Courts. Before entering private practice, Judge Abramczyk was a law clerk to Justice Joseph T. Walsh at the Supreme Court of Delaware and served as a Captain – Attorney/Advisor in the United States Army Corps of Engineers Honors Program.

Judge Abramczyk’s present term ends on June 11, 2038.
