The Justice of the Peace Court is open and hearing cases. If you receive a notice to appear you must do so unless you notify the Court in advance and make other arrangements. Many court matters are being held online; you are expected to appear via phone or computer. Failure to appear as directed may result in a capias (bench warrant) issued for your arrest.
