Limited Permission to Practice
Law School Graduate Employed by Delaware Nonprofit or Governmental Agency
A graduate of an ABA accredited law school who is employed by or associated with certain Delaware nonprofit or governmental agencies described in Supreme Court Rule 55(a) may, in the discretion of the Board, be permitted to practice in the courts and administrative tribunals of this State in matters involving such office or the clients of such program.
Application Steps and Required Documents
Law School Graduate Employed by Delaware Nonprofit or Governmental Agency
To be permitted to practice in Delaware under Supreme Court Rule 55, or Board Rule 45, an applicant must:
Complete the Application to sit for the Delaware Bar Examination, including supplying all required documents.
Complete the NCBE Character and Fitness Application.
