Family Court eCourtroom
Welcome to the Delaware Family Court eCourtroom
The Family Court's first user-friendly tech courtroom was created in 2017. The purpose of the information below is to introduce the functionality and use of the eCourtroom to self-represented litigants and members of the Bar. You will find an introduction video, as well as a number of demonstrations of the technology during examination of witnesses. You will also see an order the Judge may enter to permit the litigant's cell phone into the Courthouse, should the Judge determine it is necessary. Finally, to assist family courts in other jurisdictions, we have provided an article from Bencher Magazine providing a blueprint of the design of the eCourtoom.
