The Leonard L. Williams Justice Center closed today at 3PM. The closure was due to an earlier power outage that caused an issue with cooling the building. Court operations at the Justice Center are expected to resume as normal, tomorrow, May 1, 2024.

What To Do if You Can't Find a Preceptor

You are obligated to make every effort to locate a preceptor on your own. If you are unable to do so despite your best efforts, you can contact the Preceptor Bank and they will work with you to locate a preceptor. You should not contact the Preceptor Bank until you have exhausted all other options on your own. It is recommended that you begin your search for a preceptor as early as possible.

Please note that the Preceptor Bank is only a resource to help you locate a preceptor. They cannot assist you in securing a five month clerkship opportunity.

Please only call the contacts listed below for assistance in locating a preceptor. All other questions regarding your application and/or admission should be directed to the Executive Director of the Board of Bar Examiners.
