The Justice of the Peace Court has developed a Speakers Bureau, consisting of Judges and court staff to speak to local organizations about the procedures of the Court. The list of topics (below) include civil procedure, criminal proceedings, history of the court and employment. There is no charge for a speaking engagement and our hope is to help the community better understand the processes and procedures of the Court so that individuals can more effectively use our court without confusion or frustration.
To schedule a speaker for any of the topics on the list, please complete the request form and send it to Jamie Hicks at 5 East Pine Street, Georgetown, Delaware 19947.
