VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
The Administrative Office of the Courts has volunteer opportunities open to the public to assist the Delaware Courts to enhance the services available to the public and to expedite operations. Examples of volunteer placements include: Receptionist, Case Processing Assistant, Administrative Assistant and more. The Administrative Office of the Courts has partnered with Widener University School of Law, Widener University’s Legal Education Institute and the Delaware Paralegal Association to enhance the court assistance available to the public. Students and paralegals are volunteering at the Self-Help Center and other areas throughout the Courts to assist self-represented litigants with filing needs and to answer general questions about the legal process. Volunteers must undergo screening, training, and an application process for admission into the volunteer program.
